Happy St. Patrick's day ♧

Hello beauties,

Happy St. Patrick's day !!

For those of you who don't know what this holiday is about, here goes little explanation:"Saint Patrick's Day or the Feast of Saint Patrick (IrishLá Fhéile Pádraig, "the Day of the Festival of Patrick") is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated annually on 17 March, the death date of the most commonly-recognised patron saint of IrelandSaint Patrick (c. AD 385–461)."
Taken from wikipedia

Today I've decided to post this "greenish" look according to St. Patrick's Day

It's a green smokey eye with a double wing and a golden line between them.

This look is simple to create and I'll post a tutorial soon !!

Make up for brown eyes

Hello beauties,

Today the post is about a make-up that suits everyone who has a brown eye.

I haven't met a single beauty with a brown eye who didn't rock this look !

So, I decided to post this to make you know that, no matter what your eye color is, it is beautiful and you should love it !

As a girl who has brown eyes I know that complex that we sometimes have when we see someone with blue or green eyes and we wish we had those eyes.

Well, you should love what your mamma gave you, even if it takes a little make up to help you with that !!

So let's get started:

1 - always apply an eye primer to get better results. I'm currently using 'stay don't stray' by benefit.

2 - apply a soft brown as your transition color. I used 'buck' from the naked palette.

3 - on your crease apply a dark brown and blend it upwards.

4- apply a black eyeshadow on your outer V just to create a more dramatic look.

5 - on your lid apply a gold eyeshadow. I used 'half backed' from the Naked palette. To make the color stronger you can wet the brush before you apply the eyeshadow.

6- apply a dark eyeshadow on your lower lash line.

7 - line your upper lash line creating the cat eye effect (wing the line at the end).

8 - apply a black eye pencil on your waterline

9 - apply mascara and false lashes

Hope you liked it !

Pink and brown soft make-up

Hello beauties,

Because we're celebrating the international woman's day, I decided to post a softer girlie look.

Let's get started:

1. Apply an eye primer (I use my Stay don't stray By benefit)

2. Apply a soft brown as a transition color using a blending brush

3. Apply a light pink eyeshadow on your lid with a shader brush (I used 140 Macropearly powder pink by Kiko make up milano)

4. Apply a darker brown on the outer corner of your eye with a small blending brush

5. Highlight the zone under your eyebrow using a light eyeshadow (I used bootycall form the Naked 2 palette)

6.  Line your upper and lower lash line with a dark eyeliner to get a darker look or apply a beige eyeliner on your waterline for a wider look ;

7. Apply Mascara and Fake lashes

And that's it !

Hope you liked it !

Eyebrow tutorial

Hello beauties,

This is my eyebrow tutorial !

Facts about my eyebrow routine:
1. I never use black to fill my eyebrows because it would look too fake on me;
2. I always comb my eyebrows before filling them to ease the process and afterwards to blend the color.
3. When the hair starts to grow I hide them by highlighting around the eyebrow.
4. I always start by drawing the limits and then I start filling the thiner end.

The image says it all, but in case you have a question, don't hesitate to ask it by sending us an email at the50shadesofmakeup@gmail.com or a private message on Facebook by accessing our page www.facebook.com/the50shadesofmakeup and make sure you follow us on Instagram @ the50shadesofmakeup.

✿ Spring Make Up ✿

 Hello beauties,
We are getting ready for Spring, as it is only 14 days away !

This look is simple and very easy to recreate!

So let's get started:

1. Apply a coral eyeshadow on your crease as your transition color. I used a coral from the make up academy palette by Sephora. Use a blending brush to apply it (I used my 224 tapered blending brush by MAC);

2. Using the virgin eyeshadow from the Naked palette and a shader brush fill your lid (I used virgin but you can used whatever you have that is alike);

3. Apply a magenta eyeshadow on your crease (referred as the "lower crease" on the image) with a smaller blending brush. I used an eyeshadow from KIKO make up milano, in the color 147 magenta;

4. line your water line with a beige eyeliner (I used a Sephora long lasting eye kohl)

5. Line your upper lash line and half of your lower lash line, making it thicker on the outer corner ( I used Super liner Blockbuster by L'OREAL). Gently blend the lower lash line to create a fuller look.

6. Apply some mascara and Fake lashes (the fake lashes are completely optional, because some people can be very sensitive with strange objects near their eyes)

And that's it !

After I'm done with my eye make up I always retouch my face make up.

I'll post a facial make up tutorial afterwards so you can follow my facial make up routine.

Hope y'all liked it :)
